I'm trying to contact all O'Connell cousins--most of whom are in NY or NJ, some of whom are in IL, Ohio, MA, or TX--about a family reunion to be held in Rio Rancho, NM in Aug., 2010. Such cousins would be direct descendants of John O'Connell (who came from Ireland in 1848 & is buried in Quebec) or his descendants. I'm a grandson of Daniel O'Connell (1853 -1925), the son of John. Approximately 20 of my own direct descendants or their spouses or significant others will attend. Rio Rancho, where I live, is the largest suburb of Albuquerque. (I'm a widower.) You may stay one or two nights in local motels, eating at local restaurants. There is no cost to attend the reunion, although I may take orders for a commemorative T-shirt.
