Hi to all Luecks, my grandparents came from Rathenow in Brandenburg, Germany. I would like to know if the family name Lueck is an Eastern European name - or of Dutch descendence? I live in Germany, and the name is not very common in Western Germany. In the Berlin area it is common, could it be a Huegenot surname?
