Looking for birth parents. Birth mother is Jessie Larene Prout. I was born 23 March 1948 in California. Mother was 18 years old, her father was dead, and she had a younger sister. Birth father may not have known that she was pregnant. He had served in the military. He was of Irish and Native American descent and born in Calif. His father was also born in Calif., and of Irish and Native American descent. The name on my birth cert. was Virginia Maureen Smith.
