I too descend from Mathias B.1740-D.1807 who was married to Hester Vulgamore and settled in Romney,Virginia. supposedly fled from Germany to America.( whose father was nicknamed Solomon,given name was Heinrich Friedrich) When I look for Heinrich Friedrich's children there is no male child, only one daughter named Luise von Brandenburg Schwedt.Was Mathias perhaps from an illegitamate union? I know this was the case of several of the royals. Can anyone help me find Mathias father Solomon born about 1709, and clear up this confusion for me?
