I am searching for info on Also Watson Beasley. He was born in Virginia about 1805. I do not have parent names for him. But I suspect his mother may have been a WAtson due to his middle name. Also Watson Beasley had 2 land patents in Jackson Co. Alabama. One was 10-16-1835 for 40.13 acres. Another was 9-10-1838 for 39.7 acres. Does anyone know if land in Jackson Co was being settled at these times 1835 & 1838 by people purchasing land patents or if the land was given as rewards for service in some war? His wife's name was Charlotta. He lived in Jackson Co Alabama at least thru 1848, he had 5 children born in Alabama 1Nancy,2Mary who married Thomas Clark, 3William born May 1843 married Tom Clarks sister, 4Virginia, 5Victoria. He moved and is found on 1850 census in Overton Co Tn. He later married again(I suppose after Charlotta died) to a Susan and had Nancy, John W, Isom D, Sarah A, Andrew. Does anyone have any info on these people. Can anyone do a census lookup in Jackson Co Alabama in 1830 and look for AW or Also Watson Beasley maybe Beazley. Glad to share if I have info that will help others. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
