Birth Son ISO Birth Family Hello Everyone.... I know this is a shot in the dark, but he's 43 years old and running out of time.... I'm in search of my husband's biological father, He has longed for years to know who his biological family was/is.... He was adopted in 1966, We know that his father was a crew chief & paratrooper based at Patrick Air Force Base....From what We've been told he was born at the hospital on Base; He was born August 18, 1965 at 8:35am, he was 5lbs 13oz and 19 1/2" long, labor was only a little more than 3 hours I'm hoping that I can connect with someone that was also at Patrick Air Force Base in 1965 that can tell me anything about any of the crew chiefs/paratroopers that might provide a clue for us to go on.... We know that his biological father was 26 years old in 1965, he was 5' 8" tall, and slim, he had brown hair & blue eyes with a medium complexion, his parents were full German born in the US....He loved sports of all kinds & liked mechanical work... (Sorta ironic, my husband is an aircraft mechanic! lol) We know his biological mother was also 26 years old in 1965, she was 5' 6" tall, and 120lbs, she had auburn hair, brown eyes & a fair complexion, she had a chance to go to Art School but married early, she had hopes of starting night school, she had two children by her first marriage, divoriced & had a third child, her mother had deep red hair & was a book keeper, her father died when he was 50 from a heart attack, he was over 6' tall, had red hair & green eyes, he was of Irish decent, he was a Trolley Operator for 25 years We know the half/siblings were two boys and a girl.... In October 1965, The Children's Home Society Of Florida Adoption Services in Winter Park, Florida took permanent coustody, which seams to point that he had gone home with her after birth...at least for abt 2 months We can only assume that his biological parents are in their 70's by now, and that they may or may not even still be alive.....thats why he's running out of time, if his times not up already... We can't help to believe that there isn't one person in his biological family that hasn't thought about him at one point or another & wondered about him.... We've been searching for a long time now.... We HOPE that someone here can shed even a small amount of light...... Perhaps his biological father would be proud to know that he too pursued the Military....He served in Desert Storm, his oldest son is on his second tour in Iraq currently & my oldest son just returned from Iraq in December.... We are very proud of ALL service men & women & support them 100%!!! If you've taken the time to read through all of this, we thank you for your time & hope to hear from you! With Kind Regards, Christine Stipe
