Query Text: |
Looking for any descendants in Delaware of Samuel Moore Chipman (May 22, 1807-after 1880) and his younger sister Susan Chipman Stayton (March 29, 1809-July 26, 1876). Samuel had a daughter named Ruth Anna who married Peter Q. Robinson of Kent County around 1865, and their family was living in Smyrna in 1900. Susan Chipman Stayton and her husband Nehemiah had four children, Charles, David, Mary, and Martha, and I've been able to trace (a little bit) the families of Charles and David. Charles Stayton married Susan Moffitt, they had 5 children, but I don't have names. David married Margaret White, their children were Nehemiah, Ella, Henderson, Arthur, Susan, and Anna. If you are connected to any of these families, and/or have done research on them, PLEASE feel free to write me back. I am connected to these families in that Stephen Chipman (1798-1848), an older brother of Samuel's and Susan's, was my great-great-great-great-grandfather. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
