I am looking for any information regarding an obit and tombstone for a Ruby Freeman (maiden name unknown) and Hugh Freeman. Ruby Freeman died March 31-1935, Picher Okla., burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena Kansas (I was just informed of this this morning). Hugh Freeman was born: Sep 17, 1900 Talihina, Latimer, Oklahoma and died: Feb 24, 1981 Talihina, Latimer, Oklahoma…Unfortunately, I do not know much information on Ruby. The only information I do know is Ruby married Hugh Freeman after October 1934. I am really getting confused because past family history showed that Hugh and Ruby had 4 children and that for some reason Ruby's parents raised her 4 daughters: Catherine 10/26/1934, Virginia 12/23/1936, Wanda 10/23/1938, and Janett 1/15/1945...the problem is if these children listed here are in fact Hugh Freeman's that means he remarried and I am unable to confirm this…I know nothing about the children. I do know that Ruby was Hugh's 2nd wife, the first being Opal James who divorced on October 1934 (I have both marriage and divorce records for Opal and Hugh) I believe that the children were raised in the Talihina/Afton/Fairland, Oklahoma area. Any information on this two people would be greatly appreciated…this has been a tuff brick wall to break down…I due have all the information needed for Hugh's first wife Opal James. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
