Trying to find the family of James Art Mott of Ms. and or the Mott that lived in Neshoba County in Ms. My family came to the US from France and settled there. James Art Mott was my great grand- grandfather, My grandfather was T. R. (Ran) Mott and my father was Cecil Mott, all of Mendenhall, Ms, in Simpson County. If you know of any Mott's who's ancesters came over from France , to Philadelphia, Ms or Neshoba County, please contact me. I also have a lot of information on the Mott family that I would shair, if it will helo someone. I would also be inturested in the Parkers and the Gobers, a German name. Gober was at one time, spelt (Goberfelt). My family mane has been spelt, Mott,Motte,Mote, Lamotte, Lamothe,DeLanotte andMotier, Old French and middle English.
