I am trying to trace anyone who may no the origins of our family name Nekrews also spelt Neckrews. We have traced it to Auburn,NY between 1987-98 when a person emigrated to US but nothing else.The family seams to have settled in Wales before this but I can not get any further back it has been sugested that they may have used the boat loads of timber being brought into suport the minning business but there does not seam to be any records. Can any one help.
