I've been researching my family tree and have traced my paternal grandmothers family back to Ulverston in the Lake District. My great grandmother was Polly Phizacklea (nee Dobson) and was one of 10 children to Thomas and Mary Dobson who in 1901 lived in Main Street, Staveley. Polly married James Edward Phizacklea who was born at Levens, Westmorland. I'm looking for any Phizacklea family who still live in the lakes and are decendents of George & Mary Ann Phizacklea (James Edwards Parents) or George & Rebeckah (Rebecca) Phizacklea (James Edwards Grandparents) George & Rebeckah had 7 children, Geroge, Joseph E, William H, Francis, Thomas, John S and Elizabeth A. In 1881 they lived at Brookhouse Hall Farm. My grandmother was Stella Phizacklea - Polly and James Edward Phizacklea's only daughter who died in 1994.
