My grandmother came to NZ as a servant/companion to the Hope family before 1900. Married James Stephen BUZAN in Oamaru in 1904. Her name on the marriage register was Bella Alexandrina Fraser ENGLAND. Noted fathers name was Alexander ENGLAND, a farmer. Mothers name was Isabella ENGLAND, previously MILNE, now Isabella LIVINGSTONE. My grandmothers birth register shows her as Bella Alexandrina Fraser England MILNE. No father mentioned but not saying illegitimate either.Born in Lochton and registered in Parish of Banchory Ternan in County of Kincardine, Scotland. She was said to have been reared by her grandparents William and Isabella FRASER. Step father was John LIVINGSTONE and she had three half sisters - Margaret, Gertrude, Elizabeth, and a half brother George. Any help would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
