I am researching an eighth greatgrandfather, Richard Cheney, and his wife Eleanor Unknown. Their daughter Katherine was married 1701 in/near present location of Sykesville, Carroll CO MD. Her husband James Parnell was a Church Warden, and a widower with several children. He died November 1701. Katherine remarried the following June, to Robert Browne. Interesting to me, James Parnell had been a witness to the will of Abell Browne, Robert's father. Would like to learn more about these Cheneys. Pj Sisseck, Cheney WA
