My daughter given up at birth to Children's Home Society in 1963 in Monterey, CA. She was born November 14, 1963 at 9:30 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long. in what was called Eskaton Monterey Hospital. (no longer in existance) My doctor was Dr. Genetti - now deceased. She was adopted by a a couple in their late twenties at the time and they had been married approx. 5 years. They adopted a second child - a boy several years later also from Children's Home Society. She was baptized Catholic (my stipulation) and they lived in the midwest in the same general area that I grew up in (per a letter from CHS). The father was a successful business man in sales and his wife was a homemaker. They owned their own home and the mother had prior teaching experience but retired to be a full time parent. When I had contact last with CHS - my daughter was five years old and was in kindergarten and seemed to have a lot of self confidence. She had fine straight light brown hair, hazel eyes, and medium fair skin. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
