Searching for ancestor Dr. Samuel A. Towsey, from ultimately in Galveston, Texas, USA. Married second wife, Josephine (1835-1875)(Taylor). A daughter (Caroline McGreal Towsey m. Waller - went to Netherlands after death of her mother) possibly two sons, names or whereabouts unknown. Josephine E. Towsey buried in Galveston Texas, died at 40 years old. He appears in 1860 Census, Brazoria County. Was her maiden name Taylor? or was that a married name? What of Samuel? Also looking for Toelaer family from Netherlands who "adopted" Caroline.
