I am researching the family of Patrick Dunne (c.1864-1910) who was a policeman in the Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) [Registered No: 52558/1887] and appears to have been born in Co Roscommon, IRELAND. Patrick's father was also named Patrick and was a Farmer. Patrick Jnr died on 11 Aug 1910, possibly in Tullow, Co Carlow and was buried in St Bridget's cemetery [not sure where this cemetery is located - possibly in Tullow?] Patrick Jnr married a Mary Ann Butler (b:1869) from Valleymount, Blessington, Co Wicklow on 02 Mar 1897. They had a daughter Bridget b: 07 Mar 1898 in Kilcullen Co Kildare. Mary Ann Butler's family ran the public house (The Star Inn) in Valleymount. Patrick and Mary Ann may also have had the following children: Mick Dunne, Paddy Dunne, Sheila Dunne and Kathy Dunne. Kathy may have married a man named Flanagan. Sheila may have lived in the USA. Some of the Dunne family may have run a restaurant / cafe in Naas, Co Kildare. Any assistance would be gratefully received. Patrick Clarke
