I am looking for information and/or descendants of James and Agnes Quary Turnbull. James was born in the northern part of Scotland 22 August 1816; Agnes was born in Scotland about 1821. They were married in Scotland and had two children when they came to America in 1850 (landed in New York). Lived in Erie Co, NY for 4 yrs then went to Illinois, settling first in Bureau County, then moved about 1864 to Livingston County (Chatsworth Township). James & Agnes had 6 children: William, born 1847; John, born 1849; Nellie, born 1852; Mary Matilda (my great-grandmother), born 1856; Isabelle, born 1859; and Elizabeth/Emma, born 1863.
