Who was Annie Maud BUTLER ? This attractive lady married our widowed great grandfather Alexander Mackenzie from Scotland and at Barberton they had a son Douglas Alexander Mackenzie born 8 June 1899 a year before his father died. On the receipt for the burial plot she gives her address as c/o Butler,GPO,Wale St,Cape Town. Was this her family address or just a mail box? She later becomes Mrs CORNWELL but is still named on her 1st husband's gravestone in Maitland Rd new cemetery Cape Town. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
