I am researching Thomas Smith born in Cavan in 1849 and Margaret Barnwell born in perhaps Meath in 1848. They were married in Bishop Aukland Durham in 1870 and in the census of 1871 were living in Witton Park Durham with William Smith born in Ireland in 1834, possibly his brother and Peter Riley born 1846 also in Ireland. Thomas' father was also called Thomas and was a farmer whilst Margaret's father, dead by 1870 was called John and was also a farmer. Any help anyone can give me in tracing these ancestors would be gratefully received. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
