Female searching for birth parents, My date of birth is 01/24/1964 I was adopted through the Catholic Diocese in Yakima, Washington. My adoption was finalized in Goldendale Wa. at the Klickitat County court house. I was adopted to Emmett and Rose Marie Hoctor. My birth mothers first name was Sally. She was 16 years old when she became pregnant. She was 5 1/2 feet tall with reddish brown hair, brown eyes, and medium built. She was in the 10th grade and did very well in school. She was 1/4 Indian, French,Irish descent. At the time she concieved she was living with family friends. She lived in a maternity home for several months until she delivered. It appeared that she had a hard time growing up. The records made note that her mother married several times and also used tranquilizers. Her mother wanted to raise me, but my birthmother felt strongly that her baby would not stand a chance if her mother were to raise me, so she stood firm on the adoption. On January 30, 1964 my birth mother appeared in court to relinquish her rights so that her mother could not interfere with the adoption. After that she returned to the home of her friends and finished out her school years. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
