I am seeking information about the parents of William Franklin Clay, born in Georgia in October, 1870, and died in Haralson County, GA, after 1930. He married Josie Cumi Kerr and lived much of his life in Cleburne County, AL. His children were Sally, Albert, Andrew, Mattie, Howard, Melba, Herbert, Melvin, Grady, Oneal, and Cleo. I believe he was called Frank, but I have been unable to find him on an 1880 census with his birth family, either as William, Frank, or W.F.
