Need assistance locating a marriage record for George Wesley Bell (generally called Wess or Wesley) and his wife Josephene (called Fina) Perdue. They were from Putnam Co. Tennessee and/or Wayne Co KY and Russell Co. KY. In Jan of 1865, Wesley was a witness at the marriage of Fina's sister in Russell Co. KY. Marriage occurred at Fina's parents home. By the the 1870 Fed Census, they were married and living in Levan Township in Jackson Co, IL in the home of another couple. by 1880 they were in Gallatin Co. IL with a huge family. They then went to Madison Co. ARk, back to IL then Fina dies around 1893/94 and in July 1894, George Wesley remarries in Putnam Co. TN. Russell Co KY has no record, Putnam Co. Clerk is to busy to look. I am in Central IL., so any help is appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
