I, Dawna Banks/Laurent am searching for my birth-daughter, Katherine Berry Kolbe. Not so sure of the spelling. She will be 18 tomorrow, 8/13/2009. I have been looking forward to this day, counting down the days to EVEN being able to contact her. Katherine was born @ Mesa Luthern Hospital in Mesa, Az. at 3:13a.m. on 8/13/1991, weighing 8'13 ounces. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days. The name I gave her was; Shauna Justine Banks. I picked her parents from an adoption agency in Scottsdale,Arizona; Ed & Becky Koble. Ed & Becky resided in Paradise Valley. And Ed owned a reality business, The Koble Companies. ? They had adopted another child before Katherine, her name is Elizabeth Koble. Elizabeth was 6 at the time. The agency went out of business shortly after Katherine's adoption. At about a year and a half later I met Ed & Becky with the children at Bob's Big Boy on Country club in Mesa,Az. We had lunch and viisited. I was pregnant with Sabrena at the time and Becky had gathered some baby items of Katherine's to give me and still have them. I have talked to the adoptive parents a few times inbetween then and now. Now I've lost contact with them. The parents were given a letter by me at Katherin's birth for Katherine when she was much older. Presently, my mother and one of my brothers reside in Arizona. My mother's name is Sandra Banks/Quinlan residing in Mesa,Az. I reside in Colorado. I have lived here for approximentaly 13 years. I have 3 more children. A son through marriage Casey, 19.
