Searching for my birth mother, birth father or any siblings. I am a female born on Sept. 3, 1960, in Ft. Myers, Fla. My birth mother's last name is Mitchell. The attorney who handled my adoption was Charles Roberts of Roberts and Watson in Ft. Myers. Adoption was finalized Oct. 29, 1962. I was born with a birth defect and spent my first month at Variety Children's Hospital in Miami. I am told my birth mother worked in health care and my birth father was a doctor. She was separated from her husband at the time she got pregnant; her husband agreed to take her back if she gave up the baby for adoption. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
