Looking for a Lewis Lashway/Lajoie b. in 1812 or 1812 or 1813, was a coachman or teamster by trade, married a Permelia in about 1830. She was the daughter of a high ranking Canadian offical and she was disowned by her family for marrying beneath her status. They moved to Ausable, Clinton County, NY and there they had 9 children, the first being born in 1834 and named Lewis, he was born in Mooers, Clinton County, NY. The eventually moved to Appleton, where they had one more child and then they moved to Chippewa Falls, WI. would like to know a brother or mother or father of this early Lewis Lashway.
