I am looking for a lost relative, Michael Gaffney. Born in The Rotunda hospital,Dublin in 1940/1941. He would be approx 68/69 years of age now (2009). He visited Cabra, Dublin 7, in the summer of 1977 with his wife, looking for family. He called to the house where his mother was raised in St.Attracta Road, Cabra. His aunty Mary(His Mothers Sister)lives there now. She gave him a keepsake from the home in Cabra. Michael and his wife spoke of emigrating to America during this visit. They were living in Limerick until now. His mother (surname Healy before marriage) passed away when she was 23 years old after giving birth. The baby also died. His father took him away from Cabra after his mother's death. His half-sister, Lily, was left in Cabra and was raised by her grandparents and aunty & uncle . Michael was only about 3 or 4 years old at this time. He has many relations alive today, including his half-sister, Lily, who is 2 or 3 years older than Michael. They have never met.
