I'm searching for information about the Smith family who lived on Old Cullen Rd., near Portsoy Banffshire (Scotland) in the 1830's - 1850's. Hellen Smith (married name: Hellen Lushington) was my great-great-great grandmother. Spelling is usually "Hellen", but in some records appears as "Helen" or "Ellen". Hellen's parents were James and Ann Smith. Hellen definitely had a sister named Mary (or Maryanne) whom I believed married William Gray in 1848, and had a son Alexander. I believe that Hellen also had a younger brother James. More information about any of the above people (or their ancestors or descendants) would be greatly appreciated.
