Searching for info on the Thomas and Sophia OBrien family of Owen Co. Ky. they lived there from around 1830 to 1880. Thomas was born in Ireland ca 1810 and came to America with a brother, name unknown, Sophia was possibly Sophia Thomas born ca 1820 in Maryland and possible dau. of Phillip Thomas of Boone Co. Ky. They had the following children, James born ca 1839, John born ca 1841, Jeremiah born ca 1842 ,Mary Sophia born ca 1843 and David born ca 1849. all the children appear to have been born in KY.Always willing to share.
