I am searching for my birth mother. I was born 05/05/1971 at Hotel Dieu in New Orleans, and given up for adoption on 05/21/1971 through Catholic Charities New Orleans. My name is Doris(Dede) Oser Steudlein. My adoptive parents' names were Alvin Vonderhaar Oser (now deceased) and Doris Skelton Oser. My birth mother was 17 years old at the time of my birth. She was 5'1 and 105 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes. Her mother died from a brain hemorrhage two years prior to my birth, at the age of 51. Her father was self-employed, and 55 in 1971. She had two older brothers, and two older sisters. My birth father was also 17. He was 5'7, 135 lbs, and had brown hair and brown eyes. He had 3 older sisters.
