Hecht, Korman, Rebecca daughter of Shlaime Korman and Esther. My grandmother Rebecca KORMAN from Sarny, Poland or Russia was only known by that name by family members. She married Henry Israel Groode in Poland. He emmigrated to Canada in 1913. She joined him in 1919 with their son and daughter. They emmigrated to USA in 1924. I sent for my father's SS-5 which he filled out in 1936 and he wrote his mother's maiden name as Rebecca HECHT. This is a big mystery in our family. Was she married before?
