Nicholas & Bridget Busby emigrated from Norwich England in 1637, accompanied by children, including Anne who was married to fellow emigre William Nickerson. William & Anne Nickerson were the first English settlers of Chatham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The Nickerson Family Association was established in 1897 and it maintains a genealogy center and museum in Chatham. All Nickerson descendants of William and Anne (most Nickersons in US and Canada) are also descendants of Nicholas & Bridget Busby.
