I'm searching for Garrett family in Simpson County, Kentucky in the early 1830s. Possible a James Garrett, born in 1813, not sure where, and was married to a Nancy Forbes. They had a son named James Carroll Garrett in 1832; his Civil War papers indicate he was born in Simpson County, Kentucky who later married a Susan Killmore/Kilmer. Family moved around within south central Kentucky including possibly Todd and Muhlenberg Counties.
