Am searching or anyone connected to the McKenzie and Stalker families. The last known ancestor is Daniel McKenzie born 1823 near Grantown, Strathspey, Scotland. He married Catherine Salker daughter of Master Mariner Peter Stalker. She was born in 1827. It is said Daniel had at least one brother William. The family came to Georgetown, Canada in about 1855 and into Detroit, Michigan in 1860, to Pulaski, Illinois by 1870, into Hutchinson, Kansas by 1880 where Daniel is buried in 1884.
