I am searching for any information on the Sheil family which is connected with Rathcoole, Co Dublin, Ireland; and also the Farrell family which is connected with the townland of Porterstown between the towns of Kill and Kilteel, Co Kildare. Both of these related families are also connected to the Farrell family of the townlands of Baltyboys Upper (AKA Baltiboys or Boystown) and Ballinahown, near Valleymount, Co Wicklow. Some of the Sheil family went abroad: a Patrick Sheil possibly went to Australia sometime in the 19the Century and others appear to have gone to the USA.
