I am seeking ANY information pretaining to any of the following. My ggggrandfather was John Dale, an officer in the British army in the mid to late 1700s. His wife was named Ann, and they had at least 2 children: John, and my gggrandfather, William. William was born 9 Sept., 1804 in Dublin, Ireland. William left Dublin in about 1820, moving to Edinburg, Scotland. He married Catherine Bell Burney about 1824. They had 3 children while in Scotland: Ann, Mary, and my ggrandfather, Robert M. Dale. Robert was born 3 June, 1827. William left Scotland about 1830 with his wife, 3 children, and mother Ann. They came to the USA. This is all we know about our family before they came to the USA.
