My name is Torbjørn Vølstad (Norwegian name); My Korean name is Kim Cha Soo. I was adapted to Norway from Korea in 1967. My father was an American soldier and my mother from Korea. I was born in Seoul 4 November 1960. My mother name is Kim Young Ja and she were 23 years old when I was born. I don’t know the name of my father. My mother was waiting for my father for approximate 3 years before she realized that he would not return to Korea. She final married to another American and the last address I have is Mrs. Stephen Monroe 1214 Roosevelt Ames Iowa 50010 USA I got the address from Wiseng Hospital; I guess the hospital argent the adoption. I grew up with my “grandmother” Yu Yom Jim, the first years in Seoul and we moved to Inchon. What I have understood my mother went to Seoul and rent a room from my “grand mother” There are no relationship between my mother and grandmother, but anyway when my mother left Korea she told my “grandmother” to take care of me and she had intension of to bring me over when she was settle down in USA. She wrote many letter to my grandmother but finally something happen and the connection was broken. I know my mother have 2 children with the man she married. I live in Norway (Stavanger) have 3 children. Cecilie 31, Aleksander 25 and Sebastian 19. My profession is Toolpusher. Working offshore.
