Query Text:

HAS BEEN FOUND....Don't give up hope to all those others, and my case was one tight lid shut and throw away the key kind!!!!! My adoption was a closed case and birth family were not given any means of finding my two other siblings, and I. I was born August 19, 1976 to Patricia E. Whatley and (I'm very sure) James Franklin Tennison in Tarrant County, Texas. I am in search of my deceased father James Tennison's relatives or family,if any. I have recently done some searches on Ancestry.com and found he married quite a few times. He married young at 18 in Tarrant County first, to Pamela J. Turner. They appeared to have been re-married again and had one child in Wichita County. Then he married, and I wish I knew her maiden last name, but I don't - to Teresa C. Tennison. They were married from 8/72-9/2/76 they had one child. Then he married my biological mother 9/24/76. (This was certainly the free love time, thought that was more the 60's though) I hope this sounds familiar. I lost my father when I was 3. He was killed by an apparent taxi mugging about 30 years ago (Sept 19, 1979). I remember, even though I was young, being very close to my father. When I lost him, I also lost my house due to a fire. I also have a sibling then called LaRhonda now changed to Lara. I took mostly after my mother, but I'm sure some of these characteristics fit him as well. My grandmother from what I was told got on well with James. Her name is Mary Ellen Birdsong ( She married twice to first William Thomas Whatley then to Durwood Wiley who passed on in 2004). I'm sorry it's not a lot to go by, as I was so very young. I am trying to find out if he had any more family. I'm trying to find out about the kids from his previous marriages. I hope I got this correct from my research. My biological grandmother told me about 8 years ago that he didn't, or she didn't know if he had surviving relatives. If he does I would really like to know! This was in Fort Worth (Dallas) Texas. Tarrant County. I currently reside in New York. If anyone has information I would be so grateful!
