DOB: 5/22/1961, Male, Philadelphia, PA. Looking for BP/Siblings I actually have two cases of adoption that I want to share and each will be in individual e-mails. I have always known that I was adopted. My parents shared the information with me at an early age. When I was 18 I had an opportunity to see, or glimpse, at the records in my parent’s lockbox. Before I continue I want to clarify a few thoughts in my heart. I love my parents. They nurtured me and gave everything I needed to grow and become the person I am today. Through my life I had some random thoughts on finding my heritage, and wondering if I had other brothers or sisters. Never did I have thoughts of finding my birth parents and running away. I have been happy and content knowing that someone was wonderful enough and had enough love to give me life, and respected their decision of giving me away. As I became older and had children on my own, I made sure my children knew that I was adopted. The projects they had to do in school regarding genealogy always sparked an interest in the desire to know my ancestry, on the other side. But, the questions from my children still continue and the questions inside of me still linger. What I know: Date of birth: May 22, 1961 Born in Philadelphia, PA. I was told it may have been a hospital in Northern Philly. The birth name on the record: Daniel Lee Huber. Mother was a 19 year old Italian. I was taken home from the hospital by my parents and the adoption became final in December of 1961. It may not seem like a lot of information to go on, but maybe someone will recognize the dates or names and have more to share.
