I believe that my paternal grandmother Ida Merck Jackson (married to Homer Jackson) was born and lived for a time in Gainesville, GA. She was the daughter of William Keller Merck and Cordella Allene Woodward. She was born June 5, 1875 and died May 17, 1915.
