Robert T Morris b 20 May 1806 suppose to have been raised on an Indian reservation in Terrer Haute, Indiana. marriedElizabeth Carbaugh (B) 25 Mar 1838. Both suppose to be cherokee indian. . Elizabeth's father was Jacob and mother was Peggy Hallow or Haller. As she was abondoned in a haller and taken. She was pure Cherokee. From what I can find Robert and his brother Arch lost their parents at the age of 12 and 13 and raised by someone else. Their son was Notley Scott Morris who married Mary Jane Leathers. I'm stuck and cannot find our any info about Roberts parents or his siblings. Does any of this sound familar???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
