This is my second post. I have found more information and hope I can get a nibble with this one. My great-granfather's name was Lorenzo L. Poteet. My great grandmother's name was Minerva Fouts Poteet. My great grandfather went by the nickname LL. The family lived in Alaculcy, GA when my grandmother was born. There were 5 girls, Belle, Elsie, Magnolia, Ella May, and Allie. The family lived on property I believe was taken over by the Cherokee national Forest. Alaculcy is listed in Murray Co., GA as a town of 1895, but is no longer on any map. LL. had brothers, but my mother was not sure where they were. He owned a store and ran the post office. My grandmother was born in 1887, and was the middle child. The family moved to Cleveland, TN, then to Dayton,TN. I am looking for any info from his brother's family.
