Am looking for information or for relatives of William C. Miller from Cannon County Tennessee. William C. was born in Tennessee in 1817 and died 11-4-1857. He married Elvira D. Seawell in Cannon County TN on 9-25-1841. The 1850 census from Cannon County shows 4 children, Sarah L, Thomas T., Elizabeth J., and William H. It shows William C. Miller's occupation as a saddler. After Elvira's death (date unknown) Wm C. Miller married Martha Weedon Brewer in Cannon County Tn on 7-25-1852.They had three children-Ella (married Wiley Gray),Tennie and George W. who moved to Texas and changed his name to George W. Dodd. Wm. C. Miller's son from his first marriage, William H. Miller also came to Texas (Grapevine-Tarrant County area) married Anna Marie Carmichael and had three children: Mary Miller Scott Blevins,George Roy Miller and Robert Clyde Miller.
