SANBORN

Query Text:

My 3rd great grandfather, Morrill Benjamin Sanborn served as a Private with the 30th Maine, I Company. According to records, he became ill during Red River expidition. Transported, June 28, 1864, from Morganzia Bend Louisiana to the U.S. Hospital at Natchez, lower Mississippi. Morrill died on 15 July 1864. Private Sanborn left behind a wife (Rhoda W. Nason Sanborn) and seven children. I really wish to find where he is laid to rest, I would believe in or about Natchez, though I can not locate via on line. Could any perosn please help me. My many thanks. Larry F. Cote Deputy Sheriff Cumberland County Sheriff's Office K9 Divison
