I am looking for my 4th Great Grandfather, John Robert Cathcart(or Kethcart) or could be just Robert Cathcart. I have it as Scottish descent but I also have information on Colerain Ireland. He was born around 1745 and within his 1st 10 years came to America and married a woman named Rhoda in 1786. Had 5 children oldest believed to be David. I am searching for his parents, when immigrated, what ship or port. Anything would be of value to me. He fought in the Revolutionary war in the US. The picture is of John Robert's son. John James .
