I am tryng to collect information on my Great-Grandparents, Calvin Belton Palmer ["was born around March of 1881 in or around Mansville Louisiana, died 1955 in or around Houston Texas"] and Maudie Gertrude (White or Wyatt) Palmer [was born around November 1891 Place of Birth unknown, died August 1976 in Jacksonville Texas]. I know that they lived in and around Conroe Texas. They also owned and operated several "Honky Tonks" in that area somewhere around 1920-1930. They had five (5) children; Kathleen Palmer (married to James Shadwell; resided in Houston, Texas), Alberta Palmer (married to Bert May; resided in Cleburne, Texas), Pat Palmer (married to Stella, maiden name unknown; resided in Conroe, Texas), Columbus Palmer (married to Ruth, maiden name unknown; resided in Conroe, Texas), Lora Mae Palmer (married to Archie Raymond Free; resided in Conroe, Houston, Cleburne, & Jacksonville, Texas).
