Hi, I am looking for any relations of William A. Vaughn. His oldest son, Rufus Wilbur Vaughn was my gg-grandfather. Rufus married Mary Jane Houser and had two childern: 1. Arlen B. Vaughn: born in 1896 in TN and died in 1967 in Porterville, CA. 2. Mamie Elizabeth Vaugn: Born Nov. 29, 1898 IN tn and died March 25, 1948 in Riceville, TN. After Mary died in 1931, Rufus and Arlen went to CA to start a new life. Rufus died in 1937. Arlen has two known childern: 1. Prof. Avery O. Vaughn who taught at Flda. State in the Communtications dept. 2. Beth Vaugh who lives in Seattle. Wm. married twice--First to a Cannon and 2nd to Mary Susan Ward. | |||||||||||||||||||||
