I'm looking for any information on my family. I know very little. Michael McHale born about 1820 in Ireland married Mary ? born about 1846 in Pennsylvania. The had one son, Michael McHale born about 1844 in Ireland. Michael (the son) married a women named Mary E. ?? born around 1847 in New York, New York. They had two children: Walter Calvin born in Georgia in 1867, died in Birmingham, Alabama. The other child was Anna McHale born around 1868. Walter Calvin McHale married Lena Caroline Kline born about 1880 in Germany and died in Birmingham, Alabama. They were married around 1896 and had eight children: 1. Walter Carlos MCHALE b: Jan 3, 1900 in Alabama 2. Michael J. MCHALE b: March 11, 1898 in Alabama 3. Joseph MCHALE b: May 13, 1914 in Alabama 4. Helen MCHALE b: About 1904 in Alabama 5. Edwin MCHALE b: About 1916 in Alabama 6. Agnes MCHALE b: About 1909 in Alabama 7. Beatrice MCHALE b: About 1904 in Alabama 8. Anna Mae MCHALE b: About 1902 in Alabama Walter Carlos McHale was born 1/3/00 in Alabama and died in Birmingham, Alabama around 1930. He married Alice Thersa Woods. Alice was born 1/6/03 in Birmingham, Alabama and died 11/1978 in Birmingham, Alabama. (Alice is the daughter of Thomas Birchenough Woods and Mary Ann Walker. Thomas was the son of James Marion Woods and Margaret Birchenough.) Walter and Alice McHale had four children: 1. Walton John (Sr) MCHALE b: Dec 17, 1920 in Birmingham, Alabama 2. Thomas Edward MCHALE b: June 21, 1923 in Birmingham, Alabama 3. William Henry MCHALE b: Feb 1, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama 4. Maria MCHALE b: July 7, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama Now, you know almost as much about my family as I do. If anyone knows anything about any of these families, please contact me. I'm very new to this genealogy stuff and run into dead ends pretty fast.
