I was placed for adoption thru "The Children's Home Society of Florida" when I was about 2 1/2 months old. I have had wonderful parents and a wonderful life; I would love to thank the courageous woman and her family who gave me life under such difficult circumstances. You have three beautiful grandchildren (ages 19 to 24) that have life because of you. I Am looking to have what ever level of relationship you are open to. The following info. was obtained via my birth certificate (adopted version) and info. provided to my adopted mom from the adoption agency. (this is what my Mom wrote down 50 plus yrs. ago, but then she told me Merchant Marine in the last year...her memory is not as good as it used to be so take that with a grain of salt). Had good health record Was an only child Sadly, he shipped out upon finding out that my BM was pregnant. About adoptee: DOB: 12-12-59, Date left the hospital: 12-16-59 Date of Adoption: Feb. 23, 1960 Weight at birth: 6' 6oz., head: 13", chest: 13", Length: 19"; bright red birthmark on mid-neck, just right of center. I was allergic to cow's milk formula and had to be placed on Soy. My mother endured a 37 week pregnancy followed by 11 hrs. of labor with a low forceps delivery,baby cried and breathed immediately at birth. Blood Rh factor: Negative My adopted mother seems to remember being told that my BM was taken to her OB/GYN appmnts. by her employer. The employer and his wife were very kind to my BM.
