Does anybody know who the adopted mother of Mary Ann Hitchcock was? Mary Ann Hitchcock was a Native American girl who was adopted by Simeon Hitchcock. I would like to know who the wife of Simeon Hitchcock was at the time (I believe that his first wife, Elmira Streeter, died before the adoption). Mary Ann Hitchcock was born on September 13, 1828 in Hawley, MA. She married George M. Burnett on June 3, 1853 in Hawley, MA. She died on June 25, 1906 or 1916 (something that I would like verified). Also, does anyone know the true death date of her spouse, George M. Burnett? I have it down that he died in 1900 or 1910. | |||||||||||||||||||||
