YOUNG (George W., Mary, Ailey, Cora May (1882-1947), Crawford Co. (Pittsburg?) KS. Cora May m. to James E. A. KIRK, 20 Apr 1902 in Cherokee Co. Rev. J. H. Gibson of Pittsburg officiated. I am searching for Cora May's lineage. She claimed Crawford Co. as her residence in 1902. She was born in NE, Nebraska City in 1882, July 22. Thought to be part Indian. Lived in Cherokee Co. from 1902-1920. Husband blown up in powder explosion in 1919. Moved to Skliatook, OK (Osage/Tulsa Co) likely in 1920. Mother of 9 living children. Niece & nephews were LAYNES. Died in Altus, Jackson Co. OK in 1947. Buried in Springfield, Green Co., MO. #2 husband was Gene Warner.
